The R4i Gold Card for Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi & DSi XL is a popular and affordable slot-1 flash cart solution that allows you to launch games, run applications and play media directly from the device. Simply place your files onto either a micro SD or SDHC memory card (sold separately), insert the micro SD into your R4i Gold, your cart into your DS, and turn the system on. Playing games and media has never been easier!
Why is it better than the regular R4 DS, R4 SDHC, and R4i SDHC? Because the R4i Gold is compatible with the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL/LL - even consoles flashed with 1.4 firmwares. Receiving frequent updates from the development team, the R4i Gold offers frequently improved compatibility and features. It also includes an updated version of Moonshell multimedia player for optimal multimedia capabilities. Not to mention the superb shiny gold design! Note that the cart contains renewed hardware and thus uses different system files.
